Albers Family Community Pharmacy Practice ScholarAwarded to first year pharmacy students in good academic standing and financial need. Preference shall be given to students from Nebraska who are interested in pursuing a career in community pharmacy practice.
Augustyn, Barbara Physical Therapy ScholarshipNeedy physical therapy students with a first preference to high school graduates from Loup City, NE.
CVS Charitable Trust Incorporated ScholarshipThis scholarship was established in 2003 by the CVS Charitable Trust, Inc. It is presented to Pharmacy students in good standing who are interested in a career in community pharmacy practice.
Creighton "Pride in Pharmacy" ScholarshipPresented to a student leader who enhances the profession through involvement in professional activities and community service, shows characteristics of leadership and is influential with peers.
Dash, The Flurence & Jagannath Endowed ScholarshipWas established to honor Dr. Dash's parents as an example of the importance of helping others in need. The award will recognize a student in the School of Pharmacy & Health Professions who demonstrates high academic achievement with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and has financial need. Preference will be given to students from rural Nebraska, Iowa, or Minnesota.
Dimig, William M Pharmacy ScholarshipThis scholarship is for needy Pharmacy students with first preference to students who graduated from a high school in Cass County, Iowa, then to a student who graduated from a high school in the state of Iowa. Awards can be renewed based upon academic progress and available funds.
Dr. Salvatore Greco Endowed Scholarship FundWas established in 1996 and is awarded to a deserving student in good academic standing who has demonstrated skills in leadership.
Eurek, Agnes J. PT ScholarshipThis award is given to a student enrolled in Creighton's Physical Therapy program who has financial need and strong academic credentials. It is renewable based on continued strong academic progress and the availability of funds. The Dean of the school shall annually select the recipient.
Gale, Judith Master Clinician Endowed ScholarshipWas established in 2016 by Dr. Karen Paschal, DPT’06 and is to be awarded to 3rd year physical therapy students who are in good academic standing and demonstrate financial aid. The student should have the potential for developing clinical excellence.
Garis, Robert, PhD Memorial Endowed Scholarshipwas established in 2010 and provides scholarship support to a fourth-year pharmacy student who shares the donor's passion in promoting social & economic justice in promoting social & economic justice in the pharmacy benefits management industry. Scholarship is awarded to a student who is of high academic standing with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Ghiglieri, Jane A. Memorial Endowed ScholarshipWas established in 1978 by the late Bernard Ghiglieri, Jr. in memory of his daughter Jane. Jane died soon after her graduation from the CU School of Pharmacy. The scholarship is awarded to a third year pharmacy student who has demonstrated academic excellence, outstanding leadership abilities, and service to the School and community.
Griffin Gessert, The Virginia Endowed ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was established in 2000 by Ms. Virginia Griffin Gessert. It is presented to one entry level occupational therapy student who demonstrates financial need with preference given tot students interested in rural, non-traditional and/or geriatric occupational therapy practice.
Hamik Family Independent Practice Endow ScholarThis scholarship was created to assist a third year pharmacy student with first preferece to Nebraska high school graduates who are pursuing a career in independent community practice or ownership. Awards are not renewable.
Hospodka, Ron Endowed Scholarship FundThis scholarship is for needy third-year Pharmacy students who have demonstrated leadership and service. Award is not renewable.
Jensen Leadership Endowed Scholarship FundThis scholarship was established in 2013 by Gail M. Jensen, PhD, PT, FAPTA in memory of her mother, Alice Svendsen Jensen. Alice was a woman of unwavering faith, who passionately believed in the value of education for women. It is awarded to a 3rd year physical therapy student who has an interest in geriatrics and may have plans to pursue clinical residency in geriatrics following graduation. Student should be of high academic standing, have demonstrated leadership abilities while in the program, and have financial need. Preference is given to female students.
Kohll's Rx Endowed Scholarship FundThis endowed scholarship was established in 2007 by David and Justin Kohll. It is awarded to a student enrolled in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions with a consistent record of scholastic achievement and financial need. Preference to student employed by an independently-owned community pharmacy that provides pharmaceutical compounding and is a home medical equipment provider.
Lane, Harry & Fay Pharmacy ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was established in 1967. First preference shall be extended to a male senior from the State of Nebraska who has expressed an interest in community pharmacy with an ultimate goal of sole proprietorship. Student should also have high academic excellence and financial need.
McConnell Endowed ScholarshipStudents in their fourth year of Pharmacy School who have an interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry and who participate in a rotation or clerkship outside of Nebraska are given preference to this scholarship.
National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS)This scholarship is awarded to a student who has high academic standing and has completed at least one professional year of pharmacy school. Preference should be given to students with experience in community pharmacy, as well as the desire to pursue a career in community pharmacy, have strong oral and written communication skills and excel at patients counseling.
Nebraska Pharmacists Association Cora Mae BriggsPresented to a Pharmacy student who is a resident of Nebraska and has exhibited high academic and professional potential.
Nebraska Pharmacy Foundation Rex Higley MemorialIs funded by the Nebraska Pharmacists Foundation and is awarded to a Nebraska student who shows academic and professional potential.
Occup Ther - Inst of Latin America ScholarshipThis endowment provides financial support to students wishing to participate in the School's Institute for Latin American Concern in the Dominican Republic. This fund helps to alleviate the travel and living costs with this program. It is funded through the generous donations of many concerned alumni and friends.
Pharmacists Mutual ScholarshipThis scholarship is funded annually by the Pharmacists Mutual Companies and is awarded to a Pharmacy student who has exhibited academic superiority.
Pirruccello, Sebastian C. Endowed ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was established in 1992 and is presented to a second-year Pharmacy student who has demonstrated scholarship, leadership, service and has financial need.
Scholl, Chad M. Memorial ScholarshipThis award is made to a Pharmacy student who is a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and exhibits high moral character, willingness to befriend others and a love for the profession of Pharmacy. The recipient will have a qpa of 3.0 or higher and a strong record of community service.
School Pharmacy/HP Alumni Centennial ScholarshipPresented to an occupational therapy, pharmacy, or physical therapy student with high academic standing and financial need; demonstrates an enthusiams for learning, a commitment to the future of healthcare, a high degree of professionalism, exceptional service to the School, and an appreciation for the values of Creighton University. Preference is given to students with a Creighton legacy (parents or other relatives who are Creighton alumni).
Sherman, Brett G Class of '99 Memorial ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was established in 1998 by the CU Pharmacy Class of 1999 in memory of Brett G. Sherman, a former Pharmacy student and member of the Class of '99. This scholarship is awarded to one male and one female third-year Pharmacy student who embody the spirit of Brett Sherman in their academic excellence and service to the class.
Steichen, Nicholas Memorial Endowed ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was established in 2003 by friends and family in memory of the late Nicholas Steichen, a former Physical Therapy student enrolled in the CU school of Pharmacy and Health Professions. It is awarded to a first year student chosen by her/his classmates as possessing the characteristics of scholarship, optimism, humor, helpfulness and happiness.

It is to be presentto a student in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions who has demonstrated high academic achievement and financial need.
Stohs, Sidney J. Ph.D. Endowed ScholarshipThis endowed scholarship was established in 2002 by Dr. Sidney Stohs, former dean of the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. It is awarded to a student in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions who has demonstrated high academic achievement and need.
Stryker, Adam & Brittany Endowed ScholarshipWas established in 2014 in recognition of and appreciation for the excellent education Brittany received at Creighton. The award is presented to qualified students in their first year and must demonstrate high academic excellence with a GAP of 3.5 or higher and have a passion for learning in the field of occupational therapy.
Wal-mart Pharmacy ScholarshipThis scholarship is funded annually by Wal-Mart and is awarded to a junior Pharmacy student who is interested in community pharmacy practice. Student must demonstrate high academic standing and strength in leadership.
Walgreens Diversity and Inclusion Excellence AwardScholarship is to be awarded to a single student who embraces diversity and inclusion awareness and are interested in community pharmacy and exhibits high professionalism.
