We are pleased you have come to view the various scholarships provided to Creighton students through the generous contributions of many donors. The providers of these scholarships, many of whom are Creighton graduates, know the value of a CU education and place a high value on the spirit of philanthropy to enable others to enjoy the educational experience found at Creighton. We salute and thank those special individuals for their commitment to helping others.
At the top of this page are tabs that indicate the scholarships that can be found under each. Scholarships available to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business Administration and School of Nursing are listed under the Undergrad Scholarship tab. Students enrolled in the other schools/colleges shown should click on them for a complete listing of active scholarships.
Students applying for scholarships from any of our graduate or professional schools should contact the Admission Office for the respective school to gather information on the application and/or selection process as this will vary between divisions.
Undergraduate scholarships are generally awarded by the Undergraduate Admission Office (merit based awards) and the Financial Aid Office (need-based awards). Some academic divisions also offer scholarships and specific questions should be directed to those areas. Generally speaking, unless asked to do so, there is no formal application process. Named scholarships are normally granted to students based on the academic credentials submitted with the application for admission and the academic record achieved at Creighton. Students selected to receive a named scholarship will see these awards as part of their overall financial assistance aid package.
Receiving a named scholarship will likely result in your being asked to write a letter of thanks to the donor or their representative and this process is under the direction of our Development Office.
